This event is free. Self-guided maps will be handed out at Franklin Garden starting at 10 a.m. There will also be community information booths, a free raffle for all attendees and giveaways at the garden. More than 20 community gardens throughout Pierce County will be open for visitors during the event. Gardeners have submitted ideas for permanent infrastructure to be added to their garden. The winning entry will be built. Take a 10-mile group bicycle tour to four of Tacomas community gardens. The group tour leaves at 10:30 a.m. from the Franklin Garden and will return around 12:30. Please wear safety gear.
