Tacoma City Council is scheduled to consider a resolution Dec. 14 that would authorize an agreement with the Tacoma-Pierce County Humane Society, in the amount of $495,550 for animal shelter services for 2011. This service is vital to the City’s Animal Control staff and the general public for sheltering of lost, abandoned and injured pets.
