The City Council will kick off 2006 with a swearing-in ceremony prior to the Jan. 3 Council meeting for the re-elected Mayor Bill Baarsma, three Council Members – Mike Lonergan (At-large), Rick Talbert (Council District 4 – East Side) and Connie Ladenburg (Council District 5 – South End) – and one newly elected Council Member, Jake Fey (Council District 2 – North End). The public is invited to watch the ceremony.
