City Council members are scheduled April 22 to hear a presentation and discuss how to develop public spaces within the city into vital community places during the noon study session. Author and architect Lars Gemzoe from the Center for Public Space Research at the School of Architecture in Copenhagen, Sweden, will make a presentation to the Council. In addition, the Council is scheduled to continue its discussion of the Tacoma Housing Authority request to exercise the powers of a public corporation within the city limits for the purpose of providing low and moderate income housing.
The Council will not take public comment during the noon study session in the Tacoma Municipal Building North, 733 Market St., Room 16.
