Members of the Tacoma City Council are scheduled Aug. 18 to have a public hearing to consider designating a revitalization area in downtown Tacoma to qualify for the Local Revitalization Financing, as provided for in Second Substitute Senate Bill 5045. The hearing will be held at approximately 5:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers on the first floor of the Tacoma Municipal Building, 747 Market St.
