The Tacoma City Council will revisit plans to annex 25 properties in an unincorporated part of the Pierce County known as Dash Point, according to a letter from the city clerks office. On April 4, the city will conduct a public hearing in council chambers, located on the first floor of City Hall, and the public will have the opportunity to comment on the plan. According to a letter provided by the city clerks office, 21 property owners along Upland Terrace NE in Browns Point have requested that their properties be annexed to the City of Tacoma. The parcels proposed for annexation total almost nine-and-a-half acres of land, according to records from the Pierce County Assessor Treasurer. Following the public meeting, the city must file a Notice of Intent to the Pierce County Boundary Review Board in order for the council to consider final approval of the annexation. The public hearing will be held April 4 at 5:30 p.m. in the council chambers at City Hall.
