The Pacific Avenue improvement project, which spans from South 17th Street to South 25th and South 25th Street from Pacific Avenue to C Street, is scheduled to start construction at 9 p.m. on Sept. 2. The work will be done at night between the hours of 9 p.m. and 7 a.m. and will be accomplished in four phases; the first phase is from 17th to 21st Street on the west side of Pacific Avenue. The improvement project involves removing the existing asphalt surface and base section of the street and replacing it with a new base section and asphalt.
