The 2002 Pierce County Street of Dreams, featuring seven custom-built homes, begins Friday, Aug. 2 at Northwest Landing, a planned community in DuPont.
Produced by the Master Builders Association of Pierce County (MBA), the Street of Dreams will feature seven homes that showcase trends in technology, design, landscaping and style.
The public is invited to tour the homes, which range in size from 2,800 to 3,500 square feet and are priced at approximately $350,000 to $425,000.
Builders include Ambrosia Homes, Boardwalk Homes, Chasewood Homes, Legacy Custom Homes, Manchester Construction, North Bay Homes and Signature Homes.
The MBAs popular event typically draws more than 20,000 visitors.
This year, it will be the only Street of Dreams event in the Puget Sound region.
Admission to the event is $10 per person. Tickets can only be purchased at the event.
The event runs through Sept. 2, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., with ticket sales ending at 8 every night.
Northwest Landing is a 3,200-acre planned community in the historic city of DuPont, located 15 minutes south of Tacoma and 15 minutes north of Olympia.
A true planned community, Northwest Landing blends residential, retail and business elements.
More than one-third of the community is preserved as natural, open space.
Other amenities include an elementary school, a trail system and several parks.

To get to the Street of Dreams, from Interstate 5, take Exit 118 (Center Drive). Follow the loop onto Center Drive. Take a right onto McNeil Street and look for signs for Street of Dreams parking.
