Folks who want to get a little dinghy this summer will have their chance at the Commencement Bay Maritime Fest on Sept. 13-15.
Admission is free to the eighth annual event, which will take place along Dock Street and the rejuvenated Thea Foss Waterway and around the Port of Tacoma.
Participants can Get Dinghy With It by enjoying food, entertainment and education at Maritime Fest.
Some of the new activities featured at this years event include duck races, boat building demonstrations and the largest display of historic Foss tugs in the country.
Other activities include art, food, music, train rides, dragon boat and tug boat races and Port harbor tours.
