The City of Tacoma is seeking volunteers to serve on committees to prepare statements For or Against the Low-Income Housing Levy Proposition, which will be a ballot measure in the general election on Nov. 8, 2005. These statements will be included in the Official Voters Pamphlet, published by the Pierce County Auditor. Please submit a letter of interest indicating whether you are advocating for or against this ballot issue. Letters must be received in the City Clerks Office at 747 Market St., Room 220, Tacoma, WA 98402, or to recmgt@cityoftacoma.org, by 5 p.m., Friday, Aug. 12, 2005.
