After a nationwide search, City Manager Eric Anderson appointed Amy Palmer as the assistant director of finance and budget officer. Palmer has held the position on an interim basis since March. Palmer has worked for the City’s Finance and Budget Office for nearly 15 years. Most recently she served as division manager, financial supervisor and senior financial analyst for the Accounting Services Division in the Finance Department. Palmer worked on the SAP implementation team, has a good understanding of SAP, City revenues, expenditures and the overall City structure. She has a master’s degree in public administration and is a Certified Public Accountant.
