TO THE DEFENDANT: LORI L. MULLEN, an individual: The date of first publication in this matter is February 26, 2024. If you fail timely to appear and answer, for want thereof, plaintiff will apply to the court for relief demanded in the complaint. This is a complaint seeking a reformation of a deed of trust recorded on March 25, 2009, as Document no. 200903250691 in the Official Records of Pierce County, Washington encumbering the following described real property:
LOTS 1, 2 AND 3 AND THE NORTH 20.35 FEET OF LOT 4, BLOCK 4 OF PALMER’S ADDITION TO STEILACOOM, PIERCE COUNTY, W.T., AS PER PLAT RECORDED IN VOLUME 3 OF PLATS AT PAGE 52, RECORDS OF COUNTY AUDITOR SITUATE IN THE COUNTY OF PIERCE, STATE OF WASHINGTON, commonly known as: 815 Blaine Street, Steilacoom, WA 98388.
NOTICE TO THE DEFENDANTS: READ THESE PAPERS CAREFULLY! In order to defend against this lawsuit, you must respond to the Complaint by stating your defense in writing, and serve a copy upon the person signing this Summons within twenty (20) days after the service of this Summons if served in the State of Washington, within (60) days from the date of the first publication of the summons and complaint when served by publication, or within sixty (60) days if served outside the State of Washington or if you are a United States government defendant, excluding the day of service, or a default judgment may be entered against you without notice. A default judgment is one where Plaintiff is entitled to what it asks for because you have not responded. If you serve a notice of appearance on the undersigned person, you are entitled to notice before a judgment may be entered. You may demand that the plaintiff file this lawsuit with the court. If you do so, the demand must be in writing and must be served upon the person signing this Summons. Within 14 days after you served the demand, the plaintiff must file this lawsuit with the court, or the service on you of this Summons and Complaint will be void. If you wish to seek the advice of an attorney in this matter, you should do so promptly so that your written response, if any, may be served on time.
