The war against global terrorism is unlike our nations previous conflicts. What are veterans of World War II and the Korean, Vietnam and Gulf wars thinking about their country’s position eight months after Sept. 11, 2001?
The Rainier Media Centers Majestic Performance Hour attempts to answer that question in an hour-long program combining interviews with local veterans, film clips of historical and patriotic events and landmarks and music by local choirs.
The MPH Memorial Day Special can be viewed daily through May 27 on AT&T Channel 22 in Tacoma, University Place, Fircrest and Lakewood, AT&T Channel 28 in unincorporated Pierce County and the rest of Pierce County, and CLICK Network’s Channel 86.
Here is the schedule: Tuesday, May 21, 11 p.m.; Wednesday, May 22, 4 p.m.; Friday, May 24, noon; Saturday, May 25, 6 p.m.; Sunday, May 26, 7 p.m.; and Monday, May 27, 4 p.m.
