At Tuesday’s Joint City Council/Tacoma Library Board study session on Oct. 11, Council is scheduled to receive an update from the Tacoma Public Library. Immediately following the joint session, there will be a regular study session where Council is scheduled to continue a discussion on the City’s Economic Development strategies, specifically emergent strategies and new ideas. As a second item on the agenda, staff will provide Council an update on the status of the City’s budget. The Council will not take public comment during the noon study session in the Tacoma Municipal Building North, 733 Market St., Room 16.
