Ever go to an art event  and notice the absence of young people, especially teenagers?

Live theater, museums and yes, even movies,  can be a bit much for the budget of the average teenager.

There is a solution, and it is one of the best kept secrets of the greater Puget Sound art scene; TeenTix. TeenTix is a program dedicated to making quality arts experiences affordable for teenagers – and yes, introduce them to art fare a bit more reflective and thought-provoking than the latest CGI infused, special effects disaster flick.

Any event is no more than five dollars. This program is for those from age 13-19. Tickets are available the day of the show on a space available basis. The FAQ page is here – https://www.teentix.org/faqs.

You can see a calendar of events here – https://www.teentix.org/calendar/month.

If you are wondering where TeenTix can be used, the answer is, almost any venue anywhere in the greater Seattle, Puget Sound area. And yes, that includes art museums and galleries, theaters, music  and comedy clubs.

You can see a complete – and ever-expanding list here – https://www.teentix.org/partners.
