Tacoma-Pierce County Chamber announces business award nominees

The Tacoma-Pierce County Chamber has announced this year’s nominees for its Spotlight! On Business Awards.

The annual honorific recognizes Tacoma-Pierce County Chamber member businesses that have set the standard for exemplary business practices in several categories: small business (1-25 employees); medium business (26-50 employees); large business (51+ employees); non-profit organization; minority-owned business; veteran-owned business; and supporter of the military (sponsored by Harborstone Credit Union).

The 2015 Spotlight! On Business Awards recipients will be announced at a luncheon ceremony on Weds., Sept. 23, between 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m., at PJ Hummel & Co., located at 2620 E. G St., in downtown Tacoma. The Business of the Year Torch Award (sponsored by the Better Business Bureau) will also be presented. Event sponsors include CenturyLink, Business Health Trust, Clear Channel Outdoor, Better Business Bureau, Tapco Credit Union, Harborstone Credit Union, Harry & David, ATGStores.com, The Geneva Foundation, Graham & Graham Eldercare Consultants, and Heritage Bank.
