FISH Food Banks, AlphaGraphics Tacoma earn local Chamber business awards

The Tacoma-Pierce County Chamber has announced the recipients of the 2014 Spotlight! On Business Awards.

The annual honorific recognizes Tacoma-Pierce County Chamber member businesses that have set the standard for exemplary business practices in seven categories: small business (1-25 employees); medium business (26-50 employees); large business (51+ employees); non-profit organization; minority-owned business; veteran-owned business; and supporter of the military (sponsored by Harborstone Credit Union).

The field of finalists was narrowed down to 35 from a list of 70 nominees.

The 2014 Spotlight! On Business Awards recipients include:

Medium Business — Kel-Tech Plastics, Inc.
Large Business — Pacific Continental Bank
Non-profit Organization — FISH Food Banks of Pierce County
Minority-owned Business — Power Crews

Supporter of the Military — RallyPoint/6

The award recipients were announced during a luncheon ceremony on Wednesday at Hotel Murano in downtown Tacoma. Event sponsors included Business Health Trust, TAPCO Credit Union, Harborstone Credit Union, Harry & David, Clear Channel Outdoor, and the Tacoma-Pierce County Chamber.
