The City Council is scheduled to consider adding $7.85 million to Manson Construction Companys contract for cleaning up of the Thea Foss and Wheeler-Osgood waterways through a resolution Feb. 14. The money would cover costs for more clean fill material necessary to cap the disposal site, additional habitat restoration imposed by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, additional unanticipated capping in the Foss and removal of explosives discovered on a habitat construction site.
