Members of the City Council approved an agreement Aug. 30 that will allow the Broadway Center for the Performing Arts to continue management through Dec. 31, 2005, of the City’s performing arts buildings – the Pantages Theater, Rialto Theater, Theatre on the Square and the Jones Building. The $75,206.62 agreement will be paid for through the Theaters Fund. It is anticipated that a new management structure for the performing arts facilities will be in place at the beginning of 2006.
