City Council members are scheduled June 28 to create a Citizen Police Oversight Committee, proposed earlier this year by the Human Rights Commission. A substitute resolution will be forwarded which amends the original resolution to replace the proposed independent auditor with an internal police audit position interacting with a citizen review panel. This item was continued from the June 21 Council meeting.
