Members of City Council are scheduled March 24 to hear the first reading of an ordinance that would extend the suspension of accepting applications for the tax exemption for all multi-family developments in the Tacoma Mall Mixed-Use Center from March 31 to August 31. The extension would allow more time for a coordinated package of development regulations to be completed. The package is intended to improve the interaction between the City’s Comprehensive Plan, Land Use Regulatory Code and incentive program within the City’s Mixed-Use Centers.
