“Labor Ready, Inc., headquartered in Tacoma, has announced it completed the opening of 69 new offices in January. This brings the company total to 756 offices. The new offices were opened in 26 different states and exceeded the company’s reported goal of opening 60 offices in January. We are very happy with our field operations team and their effective roll out of new offices in January, said Chairman and CEO Glenn Welstad. It is important that we establish these offices early in the year so that we are well prepared for the upcoming season. The company stated it is on track to open approximately 200 new offices in the year 2000 with 8 to 10 of those offices opening in the United Kingdom. Labor Ready operates offices in 47 states, Canada, Puerto Rico and the United Kingdom.”
