Tom Kress recently joined the Port of Tacoma as a Senior Project Manager, responsible for project management, contract administration, project design, construction inspection, surveying and materials testing for Port construction projects.
Kress brings more than 30 years experience working for public agencies and private engineering consultants in the areas of marine engineering, transportation, municipal engineering and land development. Prior to joining the Port of Tacoma, Kress was a Project Manager with Federal Way, Wash.-based BERGER/ABAM Engineers’ Domestic Waterfront Facilities Group.
A licensed professional engineer in Washington, Oregon and California, Kress holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Colorado State University (1984).
