Department of Revenue field offices add self-serve computers

The Department of Revenue (DOR) has made it easier for taxpayers without computers to access resources on the Department’s web site.

According to a statement, DOR has installed self-service computer workstations in each of its 12 field offices, including Tacoma.

Business owners or other taxpayers can use the computers to complete business registrations, print forms or publications, view online tutorials, or sign up for workshops. Individuals can review helpful information on starting a business, and file for their master business license. Taxpayers also can create a secure online account with the Department to file their taxes using E-file or send secure emails.

Some information on the Department’s site is available in other languages. Information on destination-based sales tax, which went into effect on July 1, is available in Spanish, Russian, Korean, Tagalog, Vietnamese, and Chinese.

The Tacoma field office is located at 3315 S 23rd Street, Suite 300. It is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The office is closed on holidays.
