The Tacoma Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Weds., Feb. 6 at 5 p.m. for the proposed 2008 Critical Areas Preservation Ordinance. The purpose of the public hearing is to allow all interested persons an opportunity to comment on proposed revisions to the City of Tacomas Critical Areas Preservation Ordinance (CAPO). The proposed revisions to CAPO include standards and regulations for fish and wildlife habitat conservation areas, including buffer requirements for marine shorelines. The hearing will be held in the City Council Chambers located on the first floor of the Tacoma Municipal Building, 747 Market St. For more information, visit cityoftacoma.org/planning and click on “Critical Areas Preservation Ordinance Update.”
