“The Pierce County Housing Authority is looking for prospective board members interested in helping provide affordable housing for low-income individuals and families. The authority’s five-member board of commissioners is seeking two members.Housing Authority commissioners are appointed by Executive Doug Sutherland subject to County Council confirmation. The authority was created by the county to help alleviate the continuing need for safe, sanitary dwelling accommodations for low-income persons.”
