On Thursday, October 20, 2022, at 9:00 a.m., the Hearing Examiner will conduct a hearing on the request to vacate a portion of Commerce Street, lying north of the Sound Transit right-of-way, for a private walkway. (Cornus House LLC; File No. 124.1430) Pursuant to Proclamation of Emergency Rule No. 6, the hearing will not be conducted in-person and will have telephonic and virtual access for the public to attend. If the Proclamation of Emergency Rule is lifted prior to October 20, 2022, the hearing will be conducted in a hybrid format that includes an in-person component and a remote option. To attend in person, the meeting will be held in Council Chambers, on the first floor of the Tacoma Municipal Building, located at 747 Market Street.
