City Manager Eric Anderson will unveil his proposal to balance the budget through the 2007-2008 biennium during the Nov. 8 study session. The proposal to the City Council will include sustainable cost-saving measures and revenues to cover the anticipated budget gap through 2008. Also during the study session, the City Councils Blue Ribbon Panel on High-Risk, High-Needs Housing will present its recommendations to the Council. The public may attend the noon study session in the Council Chambers on the first floor of the Tacoma Municipal Building, 747 Market St., but the Council will not take public comment. TV Tacoma will broadcast the study session live on cable Channel 12 in Tacoma and on CityPost, cable Channel 77 on Comcast and Channel 85 on Click! Replays of the study session presentation will be posted on the TV Tacoma Web site within 24 hours of the presentation at http://www.tvtacoma.com
