Rosie the Riveters, Washington women who worked in the trades during World War II, will be honored at a luncheon Saturday, May 4, during the 23rd annual Washington Women in Trades Fair at Seattle Center.
Rosies were members of the hidden army of women who fought WWII from the homefront as riveters, electricians, welders, inspectors, etc.
The Rosie Reunion luncheon will begin at 11 a.m. in the Alki Room at Seattle Center, with the program beginning at noon.
An annual awards ceremony honoring tradeswomen will follow the Rosie Reunion.

The Women in Trades Fair, sponsored by the Washington Women in Trades Association, will be held at Seattle Center Friday, May 3rd and Saturday, May 4th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information about the fair and a schedule of events, go to:
