Tacoma City Councilmembers and the Port Commission are scheduled for a joint study session Tues., June 7. At the joint meeting, City staff will provide a status report on the update to the Shoreline Master Program and the development of a Container Port Element in the City’s Comprehensive Plan. City staff will also provide a status report concerning the City’s bridge projects in the Tideflats. Public comment will not be taken during the noon study session held at the Port of Tacoma’s Fabulich Center, located at 3600 Port of Tacoma Rd., Suite 104.
