The next session of the Government Leadership Institute held at 5:30 p.m. on Feb. 11 will focus on economic development concerns and how the City plans to navigate conflicting interests and balance priorities between neighborhoods and urban centers. The free session will be held at the Keystone Building in the Carwein Auditorium, 1900 Commerce St., on the University of Washington Tacoma campus. The Government Leadership Institute is a cooperative effort between the City of Tacoma’s Neighborhood Council Office and the University of Washington Tacomas Urban Studies Program.
