Messages from the Executive
A message from the Executive transmitting the following Ordinance, which was approved and signed on July 9, 2002:
Ordinance No. 2002-73s, amending Chapter 2.54 of the Pierce County Code, District Court Districting Plan, to consolidate all Pierce County District Courts into one Pierce County District Court; setting effective dates; adopting findings of fact; and declaring an emergency.
A message from the Executive transmitting the following Ordinances, which were approved and signed on July 11, 2002:
Ordinance No. 2002-19s, amending Sections 5.24.020, 5.24.030, 5.24.050, 5.24.060, 6.04.020 and 6.04.030 of the Pierce County Code relative to fees for kennels, catteries, grooming parlors, pet shops and pet licenses; adding a definition for boarding kennels and catteries; adding a bi-annual financial request for service and permit data reporting requirements; and setting an effective date.
Ordinance No. 2002-20s, amending Chapter 14.20 of the Pierce County Code, Parks and Recreation services fees, by amending fee schedules, adding new fees for Parks and Recreation activities and facilities; and establishing an effective date for the new fees.
Ordinances
Proposal No. 2002-64, vacating a portion of Barkubein County Road East (226th Avenue East), located in the Southeast Quarter of Section 26, Township 20 North, Range 5 East, of the Willamette Meridian, located in the Bonney Lake area.
Proposal No. 2002-81, amending section 17C.60.090 of the Pierce County Code, Fireworks regarding the dates when the sale, purchase and discharge of fireworks are permitted in unincorporated Pierce County; and declaring an emergency.
Proposal No. 2002-45, granting a nonexclusive franchise to Public Utility District No. 1 of Lewis County, a public utility in the state of Washington, for location of electric lines on certain county owned rights-of-way; repealing Ordinance No. 2000-118; and authorizing the county to execute the franchise.
