Crane overturns in Dome District

A 100-ton crane working on a project to connect Sounder commuter rail service between Tacoma and Lakewood by 2012 tipped over on June 30 in Tacoma’s Dome District. The accident occurred at approximately 3 p.m. at a site near 25th and A street and near Interstate 705. No one was injured. The accident stopped construction while it was investigated.
