Join Pierce County for a fun run and walk on the Foothills Trail Sat., March 15 with proceeds benefitting recreation programs for youth and adults with disabilities. The Foothills Dash starts and ends at Ptarmigan Ridge Elementary School in Orting.
The 3rd annual event, presented by Pierce County Parks and Recreation, starts at 9 a.m. and offers 5K, 10K, and 15K routes with a free 1-mile route for youth ages 12 & under. Registration and check-in starts at 8 a.m. The cost is $20 for the 5K and 10K and $25 for the 15K. T- shirts are available for an additional $5.
