Tacoma will celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.s birthday from 11 a.m to 1 p.m., on Monday, Jan. 21, at the Tacoma Dome Exhibition Hall, with music, dance and poetry. The theme of the 14th annual celebration is Pieces of the Dream.
Doors will open at the Exhibition Hall – 2727 E. D St. – at 10:30 a.m. for a complimentary continental breakfast (while supplies last). Admission is free, but organizers will collect non-perishable food items and donations for the Feed the Children Food Drive.
