WWEE course provides business training for low income people

WWEE, an affiliate of Washington Cash – an award winning non-profit organization devoted to self-sufficiency through self-employment – is offering Cash’s proven eight-week business training courses to low-income people.

The course covers: identifying business strengths, controlling costs, record keeping, determining selling price, planning the best ways to sell your product of service, all the skills needed to get a business up and running, plus step-by-step guidance through the process of writing a business plan.

Upon completion of the training, participants can join one of the small business groups where they receive micro credit lending services, business coaching, technical assistance and peer support.

This series of evening classes begins on Thursday, Feb. 26 and ends on Friday, April 16. Information meetings for this class are Tuesday, Feb. 17 and Thursday, Feb. 19, from 7 p.m. to 8:30 pm., at the Family Investment Center, 1728 East 44th St. in Tacoma.
