The City of Tacoma will host a public meeting Weds., Dec. 9 at 5:30 p.m. to receive comment on a planning study under way that focuses on the future of the Brewery District.

The City hired Via Architecture to conduct the study, which contains development concepts and strategies as well as land use and transportation analysis.

The Brewery District is bordered by Tacoma Avenue on the west, Pacific Avenue on the east, I-5 on the south, and South 15th on the north. A presentation on the draft study will be provided followed by time for questions and comments.

The public meeting will be held at the University of Washington Tacoma, Garretson Woodruff Pratt Building, Tacoma Room (Located on 3rd floor above UWT Bookstore on Pacific Avenue).
