USGA, Chambers Bay unveil 2015 U.S. Open logo

As excitement builds for the 2015 U.S. Open at Chambers Bay, Pierce County and the USGA are ready to introduce the championship logo to the community. The logo, which features Chambers Bay’s trademark sails, will begin appearing on select pieces of merchandise in the Chambers Bay golf shop in October, with more expected to be available by Christmas. Chambers Bay, owned by Pierce County, will host the first U.S. Open in the Pacific Northwest from June 18-21, 2015. Designed by Robert Trent Jones II and operated by KemperSports, Chambers Bay is an 18-hole, links-style golf course located just outside of Tacoma and less than an hour south of Seattle. The course, host of the 2010 U.S. Amateur, is situated along the scenic shores of Puget Sound and incorporates public trails, parks and beach access.
