At least 400 Washington state unemployment checks have been lost in the mail, the second such incident in a month, when 1,400 checks went missing in late December.
The Employment Security Department issued replacement checks today at WorkSource locations in Tacoma, Bremerton, Port Angeles and Port Townsend.
