TV Tacoma to broadcast live election coverage Nov. 8

If you are looking for the best coverage of live, local election results for the Nov. 8 general election, TV Tacoma is your answer. The City of Tacoma’s municipal TV station will provide live coverage from 8:30-10 p.m. on cable Channel 12 in Tacoma and Channel 21 throughout most of Pierce County.

TV Tacoma’s in-studio broadcast will cover county-wide election information and live interviews with candidates vying for positions on the Tacoma City Council, Metro Parks Board and Tacoma School Board. Hosts Carol Mathewson and Carol Mitchell will talk with civic leaders about their focus for the upcoming term, and Randy Lewis will join the team to provide political analysis of the initiatives and what they may mean for Tacoma. Election result graphics will be displayed during regular programming following the election coverage until 8 a.m. on Nov. 9.
