Triangle Townhomes taking shape in Tacoma

Just across from the Grand Cinema of Tacoma’s Theater District neighborhood, construction continues on Triangle Townhomes.

Located at the corner of 6th and Fawcett avenues, Triangle Townhomes – when completed – will consist of 26 elegant living quarters, with spacious floorplans ranging in size from 1,450 square feet to over 2,000 square feet.

The $8.5 million project will provide owners with a commanding view of the downtown skyline, Mount Rainier and Commencement Bay. Many homes feature large roof top decks or garden patios.

Other amenities include soaring ceilings and expansive windows; private one- and two-car garages; a luxurious master suite with a five-fixture bathroom and walk-in closets; gas fireplaces; and stainless steel appliances.

Air quality, energy efficiency, comfort and durability have been taken into account by the design team, which is aiming for what is called naturally modern living.

Plans call for drought tolerant landscaping, natural rainwater management and stone surfaces and wood finishing touches.

Triangle Townhomes – so named for the distinctively triangular site on which the homes are being built – has been awarded a 10-year property tax abatement by Tacoma as part of an incentive program created by the Washington State Legislature to promote infill developments in urban locations.

The new homes will be located just a few blocks away from Tacoma’s Link light rail line.

Triangle Townhomes are currently on sale. Prices start in the lower $300,000 range.

Construction on Triangle Townhomes began in November. Triangle Townhomes ist set to open this fall.
