Tacoma, Fife and other Pierce County citizens of the 27th Legislative District are encouraged to attend a Town Hall, Tuesday night, May 28, at Jason Lee Middle School.
Thanks to the recent redistricting process, the Puget Sound-area district encompasses north, central, east and northeast parts of Tacoma, as well as Fife.
Hosted by state Sen. Debbie Regala and state Rep. Jeannie Darneille, the Town Hall will run from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the school cafeteria.
The school is located at 602 Sprague Ave. in Tacoma.
The meeting is an opportunity for citizens to ask questions, share concerns, and make their voices heard about state issues, said Regala, D-Tacoma. Well be there to listen, and the participants will create the evenings agenda based on what they would like to discuss.
It is an honor to represent our district, and we look forward to talking with citizens who take the time to attend the Town Hall, note Darneille, D-Tacoma. This is a good opportunity for people to make their messages known.
