    Republic Parking Northwest
This was the scene Monday morning at 11:50 a.m. inside the parking garage at South 10th Street and A Street, across the street from Russell Investments former headquarters building. Earlier this month, Russell's 900 employees began the move from its 12-story building on 909 A St. in downtown Tacoma to its new home in the former WaMu Center, located at 1301 Second Ave., in downtown Seattle. Russell purchased the WaMu Center and renamed it the Russell Investments Center. The move was completed over the weekend. The global investment advisory firm founded in Tacoma in 1936 grew to become downtown's largest private employer. On Sept. 9, 2009, the company announced it would move to Seattle by the end of this year. (PHOTO BY TODD MATTHEWS)
