The City of Tacoma’s Public Works Department has been selected to receive an award from the National Association of Clean Water Agencies (NACWA) for its work providing “sustainable and successful programs that exemplify the attributes of an effectively managed utility.” The City was recognized with the Excellence in Management Platinum Award on July 16 during an awards ceremony at the NACWA’s summer conference and annual meeting in Philadelphia.
