Tacoma house fire injures 2

Tacoma fire fighters responded to a house fire at approximately 10:20 p.m. Tuesday night.

Fire crews arrived at the scene to find heavy flames and smoke pouring out of the front of the 1.5-story, 936-square-foot single-family residence located in the 4500 block of South Fawcett Avenue. Two people inside the home were transported to an area hospital for injuries suffered in the blaze.

The cause of the fire was undetermined and resulted in an estimated $65,000 dollars damage to the building and its content, according to Tacoma Fire Department officials.
