The market is celebrating its tenth anniversary by extending the season to last every Thursday, through October 19th, taking advantage of the autumn harvest.The Tacoma Farmers Market is located on Broadway between 9th and 11th streets in downtown Tacoma, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. every Thursday.Highlights of this year’s market include the Seasonal Garden Basket – a subscription to fresh-picked organically grown produce. As little as $18 weekly gets a box of salad greens, herbs, cut flowers and seasonal vegetables ready for pick-up at the market each Thursday.Seasonal baskets come in three varieties: The Commencement Cornucopia, The Market Sampler, and Farmers Flowers.The subscription program is known as Community Supported Agriculture, a program to bring local produce directly to the customer.”
