Tacoma City Council to discuss Metro Parks transition plan

Tacoma City Council is scheduled to hold a joint study session with Metro Parks Board of Commissioners at noon on Tues., April 10 to receive an update from the Metro Parks transition plan policy team, which consists of representatives from both the City of Tacoma and Metro Parks Tacoma. The team has been working on the transition of City property to Metro Parks to centralize all park facilities, operations and maintenance with Metro Parks as the provider, whenever possible, where it is to the mutual benefit of both parties and the citizens.

City Council will not take public comment during the meeting, which will be held in the Tacoma Municipal Building North, 733 Market St., Room 16.
