Downtown Tacoma will light up for LuminoCity from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., on Thursday, Jan. 17.
The event is the Tacoma Economic Development Departments free quarterly festival that celebrates the renaissance of downtown Tacoma with lively events, cool art, food and drink and great shopping in nearly 100 venues throughout downtown.
Soak up the scene in one of downtowns mini-neighborhoods: Antique Row, Opera Alley, The Pamper Zone, The Merlino Art Center and The Theatre District.
Witness free performances by writers, dancers, actors and musicians. Catch a film. See a play.
Take advantage of free admission at local museums. Join artists and urban pioneers in the Rialto Theatre, 310 Ninth St., for guided walking tours by candlelight, or grab a handy map and explore on your own.
