Silent Auction at Globe Awards

It’s all up for bids at this year’s World Trade Center Tacoma Annual Globe Awards Dinner.

WTC Tacoma is currently accepting contributions for its Silent Auction held before the dinner, which goes from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., on Tuesday, Jan. 20, at the Tacoma Sheraton Convention Center.

The Silent Auction is part of the Annual Globe Awards fund-raising event that serves to reduce the cost of educational seminars.

The Globe Awards Dinner, presented by KeyBank, honors two of the most remarkable business leaders or organizations that have made a significant impact in the international trade community.

George Russell, Emeritus, Frank Russell Group, will be the featured guest speaker – his topic: “Globalization: Threat or Opportunity.”

Donations, which are tax deductible, and services of all kinds are welcome for the Silent Auction. All contributions will receive extensive recognition in the Silent Auction program, as well as the World Trade Center Tacoma’s Website: www.wtcta.org.

Common donated items from the Silent Auction include: gift certificates for the symphony or theater; gift certificates to local restaurants; company gift baskets; movie tickets; sporting events tickets; various get-aways; cruises; bottles of wine; and art.
