Members of the City Council are scheduled Jan. 27 to receive an update on Tacoma’s Shoreline Master Program. The presentation will be a review of the program to date; a scope of work and schedule for future work; regulatory requirements and timelines; potential issues and conflict areas; community participation strategy; goals and next steps. Council members are also scheduled to receive an update on the Sound Transit Commuter Rail D to M Street Project; the presentation will include the recommendations from staff and the Project Advisory Committee.

The Council will not take public comment during the noon study session in the Tacoma Municipal Building North, 733 Market St., Room 16.
